Our Voice – The History - Kenny F. Jean, Founder and Chairman of L.Y.F.E. Multimedia Group can trace the genealogy of “Our Voice – The Magazine” . Jean is a born optimist, and was taught to think positive. L.Y.F.E. – “Living Your Future Everyday” became his mantra and the driving force for his vision. The idea was to develop a print publication to deliver more than entertainment but information, to inspire, educate and uplift his readers. Attending an event and viewing publisher Howard Coles Collection of the Frederick Douglas Voice Newspaper in Rochester, NY, Jean was motivated to focus his magazine concept of creating a magazine with a positive message. This encounter defined the purpose and direction of L.Y.F.E. Multimedia Group and set the standard of this publication. The first issue of Our Voice – The Magazine” was published February 2013.

We strive to inform, inspire, and engage individuals and grassroots organizations in becoming a significant cultural force by delivering passionate, creative and informative coverage to "OUR" community.

As a community informational platform..., Our Voice will support journalists, artists, and activists by offering them the opportunity to exercise, contribute, and develop their skills to help launch successful careers.

Deliver, through in-depth features, community discourse, beneficial health topics, extensive art and cultural coverage, positive affirmations, comprehensive event listings, and charitable causes.
